Saoirse Noonan has capped a remarkable few days with her first call-up to the Ireland women's squad for the vital final Euro qualifier against Germany next month.
Noonan, 21, scored the winning goal for the Cork footballers in their victory over Kerry in the All-Ireland Senior Ladies' Football Championship on Saturday.
Then the following day, Noonan grabbed a brace in Cork City's FAI Cup semi-final win over Treaty United.
Ireland face an uphill challenge against the world-class Germans, who have already booked their place in the finals, in the Tallaght clash on December 1.
Vera Pauw's side need to get something from their final qualifier, as Ukraine - who face Montenegro - are a point behind Ireland but are now in the driving seat for the runners-up spot.
Pauw has named a 31-strong squad that will be cut back ahead of the squad's first training session on Sunday, November 22.
