SAO PAULO -- A traveling exhibition featuring works by manga artist Naoki Urasawa has opened at the Japan House in Sao Paulo.

On display at the exhibition, titled "This is MANGA -- the Art of URASAWA NAOKI," are about 600 items, such as the artist's original drawings from "Yawara!" "Monster," "20th Century Boys" and other signature works, as well as his notes on story ideas and boyhood sketches.

The event, organized by The Yomiuri Shimbun and other entities, kicked off Tuesday and will run through Jan. 5.
