Arsenal are preparing to go head-to-head with more than one familiar face on Thursday evening.
The Gunners take on Unai Emery and Villarreal in their Europa League semi-final first leg on Thursday night at Estadio de la Ceramica, and it's not just their former boss who is familiar.
Arsenal have been linked with two players from the Yellow Submarine in recent times with defender Pau Torres and winger Samu Chukwueze often touted as potential transfer targets.
And according to Gunners and Villarreal favourite Cazorla, there were indeed inquiries into the pair from people at Arsenal just over a year ago.
"Yeah, mainly my Arsenal friends," Cazorla told Marca. "They ask me about them and they think that they can make the jump to the Premier League soon.
"It's good that big clubs are interested in the young players at Villarreal but, for the moment, I'm asking them to let them stay here. They still have to make more steps [in their development].
"Those two have great personalities and their feet are on the ground.
"In Pau's case, I'm constantly hearing talk about Manchester City or Barcelona, but he knows that he has to keep improving as a player and we'll see how far he can go in the future."
Torres is now one of the highest-rated centre-backs in Europe and he will almost certainly start for Spain alongside Sergio Ramos at this summer's Euro 2020.
The centre-back is likely out of Arsenal's reach now, priced at around £56million, while Chukwueze's release clause stands at just under £70million, still only 21 years of age and yet to hit his full potential.
