Santa spotted above Glasgow as Rudolph and co pass over Scotland

Santa Claus has been spotted above Glasgow as he continues his mission to visit every little boy or girl around the world.

Mr C has been hard at work tonight as the clock ticks towards Christmas Day, with kids across Scotland struggling to sleep with excitement.

The Jolly Elf has already delivered presents as far away as Turkey, Finland and even Antarctica, but it appears he's finally made to Scotland.

Scotland's force has been out keeping every safe this Christmas Eve, but couldn't believe their eyes when they spotted Rudolph and co pulling the sleigh above Glasgow.

Flying over The Hydro, it appears Santa is on his way to the West End via Finnieston and Kelvingrove having already passed by Daily Record HQ at Anderson Quay!

Police Scotland posted: "SANTA IS ON HIS WAY.

"Our colleagues @PolScotAir have just sent us this picture taken whilst patrolling the skies in Glasgow!

"If you look closely Santa is on his way ! #HappyChristmas #PolScotAirSupport"
