Santa Claus took time out of his Christmas preparations to visit Kirkcudbright on Saturday.
The great man arrived at the town’s harbour by boat, much to the delight of youngsters.
He was then piped to Greyfriars Church where he spent a few hours greeting kids.
And after a well-earned rest, he was back out and about in the evening for the switch on of the town’s Christmas lights.
Kirkcudbright Princess Gracie Murray did the honours along with attendants Jessica Gourlay and Louise Dempster.
