Despite a busy Christmas, Santa found time to visit the grotto set up for him at the Tesco Extra supermarket in Cuckoo Bridge, Dumfries, to hand out a gift and chat to children about their wishes.
And he popped inside the store to spread some festive cheer to the hard-working staff.
The popular event, which attracted dozens of families, was organised by the store’s community champion, Anne Croucher, who dressed up for the day with other staff members as Santa’s helpers.
“A massive thanks to everyone who supported the event and to Homebase in Dumfries who very kindly let us borrow one of their sheds to decorate as Santa’s grotto for the day.”
