Santa and Mrs Claus will be at the Trinity Church this Sunday, December 1 to give out 1000 free selection boxes.
The jolly couple will be dashing all the way from the North Pole to Irvine’s very own grotto to hear all about what the good boys and girls want this Christmas and to give every ‘nice’ child a free box of chocs.
This year, the event had a helping hand getting ready for the merry pair from Irvine Special Events Forum and Irvine Neighbourhood Watch.
Santa said: “Me and Mrs Claus are really excited for our trip to Irvine this weekend.
“All year long I’ve been keeping a list of all the good boys and girls around the town and checking it twice.
“As a special early Christmas treat we’ve had the elves pack 1000 free selection boxes into the sleigh for all of the nicest little boys and girls.
“We can’t wait to see you all this Sunday.
“Ho. Ho. Ho”
Santa and Mrs Claus will be at the Trinity Church between 2pm and 5pm.
