'Santa Claus' - Huddersfield boss hoping for major injury boost ahead of Nottingham Forest clash

Huddersfield Town boss Danny Cowley is hoping to see his injury problems ease as he gears up for this weekend's clash with Nottingham Forest.

The Reds take on the Terriers .

Huddersfield have been without the likes of Alex Pritchard, Fraizer Campbell, Lewis O'Brien and Jaden Brown due to injury, while Steve Mounie was only fit enough to make the bench for the 1-1 draw at Wigan Athletic because of illness.

Some of the absentees are closing in on a return to action, though, according to Cowley.

"Lewis, Fraizer, Jaden, Pritch - the list goes on," he told ExaminerLive.

"We're hopeful they'll be back for next week. We desperately need some help, we need a bit of left-footed balance.

"None of them are far away, it's not terminal for any of them.

"These games are coming thick and fast and we need, desperately desperately need, even just a left-footer or Fraizer.

"I'm not greedy, I'll just take one for Christmas. Honestly, I'd give up Christmas to get them back fit.

"You don't have to give me any presents, Santa Claus, just give me a couple of my good men back!"
