Sanford Stadium to allow fans to bring in water bottles

The University of Georgia has announced that fans will now be able to bring in a 20 ounce, unopened bottle of water to football games.

In addition to this new policy, the stadium will also have thirteen cold filtered water refill stations throughout the stadium, which are shown on the map above.

There have been a number of instances over the years of fans passing out due to heat exhaustion.  This new policy should help to keep Dawgs fans hydrated during those hot and steamy September games for the seasons to come.  It could also make it that much easier for students to smuggle in water bottles of Taaka, but we’ll worry about that when the issue presents itself.
