Sandwich-friendly square sausages for sale at Aldi

Aldi has launched square pork sausages to make it easier for them to fit in slices of bread for a banger butty.

The patties fixes the fiddly problem of cutting up the sausage to get it to fit perfectly inside the shape of bread.

Aldi is selling a 340g four-pack of sausage squares at £1.79.

They are shaped flat like burgers and have been launched as part of the budget supermarket’s “fresh weekly offers”.

They’re currently on sale in Aldi stores as one of the ‘fresh weekly offers’.

They’ll be on sale while stock last, so you’ll have to make sure to get down to stores quick.

Though don’t worry too much – As Morrisons, and Iceland both do their own versions, too, for £1 and £2, respectively.

And selected supermarkets like Asda could be selling Malcolm Allan square sausages.
