Sandro Ramirez completes loan move from Everton to Real Valladolid as striker attempts to rebuild career

Everton striker Sandro Ramirez has completed his season-long loan move to Real Valladolid.

The Canary Islands-born player who joined the Blues for £5.2million in 2017, struggled to adjust to English football after his move from Malaga and has in temporary moves.

Sandro, who turns 24 in a week's time caught the eye of previous manager Ronald Koeman following a prolific 2016/17 campaign when he netted 16 goals in 31 games but since then his scoring return has plummeted dramatically.

He failed to score for Everton in the Premier League and after just 16 appearances for the club and a solitary strike in a 5-1 home defeat to Atalanta in the Europa League, he was shipped back to La Liga in January 2018, joining Sevilla for the remainder of the campaign.

Sandro failed to find the net in 18 games back in Andalusia and also drew a blank throughout the entire 2018/19 season on loan at Real Sociedad for whom he played 23 games.

His contract at Goodison Park, where he is understood to be one of the club's higher earners, runs for another two years.
