Twente fans sing for Hakim Ziyech

Ziyech has enjoyed a spectacular season with Ajax again this season, scoring six goals and contributing 12 assists in 18 Eredivisie matches, along with three goals in the Champions League.

The signing of the highly-rated playmaker is considered to be a real coup for the Blues, given the moderate fee they will pay to the Dutch club.

Some supporters took to to social media to hail Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia, who plays a key role in transfer negotiations.

The Blues also released a statement on Thursday.

"Chelsea Football Club has reached an agreement with Ajax to sign Hakim Ziyech this summer," a statement reads on Chelseafc.com.

"The move is subject to the player agreeing personal terms and he will remain at the Dutch club for the rest of this season."
