'Sancho and Chilwell incoming!' - Chelsea supporters go crazy as transfer ban is lifted

Chelsea have been successful in their appeal to reduce the two-transfer window ban.

And it's got fans talking on social media.

Court of Arbitration for Sport have confirmed that the Blues will be able to sign players in the upcoming January transfer window which could come in handy for head coach Frank Lampard.

The Blues were given a two-window ban by FIFA earlier in the year which meant they couldn't register any new players who were above the age of 16, after breaking regulations over the signing of youth players.

However, back in June the west London outfit submitted an appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) to have this ban reduced to just one which would enable them to make signings in January.

This was after the appeal to FIFA was thrown out.

Although, they had been awaiting a hearing date from CAS, and with the January transfer window just around the corner, the Blues have got the verdict they wanted.

But, do they need the ban reduced?

On the pitch things are going really well. Wednesday night's win over Aston Villa coupled with Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur dropping points means the Blues are looking good for a top-four finish.

Well, news of the CAS' verdict has prompted a massive reaction from fans on Twitter.
