Can the San Diego State defense do what the San Diego State defense always does?
Colorado State’s offense has been solid, but the defense hasn’t been able to hold up in loss after loss – the Rams have yet to beat an FBS team. But there shouldn’t be too much of a concern against an Aztec offense that’s okay at controlling the clock and not screwing up, but doesn’t have a whole lot of explosion.
The Rams aren’t going to run a lick on the Aztec front seven, and the passing game that’s been able to keep things alive will struggle with the SDSU pass rush being able to take over. The CSU offense will go on a few good drives, but they won’t finish with points.
Expect a ton of Ram frustration.
There were be a few too many stalled drives, and a few too many turnovers. San Diego State will be a +3 in turnover margin with the defense getting better and better as the game goes on.
