Samsung's new party speakers might blind your guests with a 360-degree light show

Samsung party speaker.

We're seeing more party speakers hit the market from various audio companies, and Samsung is one of the brands leading the charge. The decade-old Giga line may not be the first excessively large speaker with bright lights, but it was one of the more popular options.

Now, Samsung has announced two new models at IFA 2025 — the Sound Tower ST50F and ST40F — both of which come with bright lights and booming audio that'll keep the party going (and your neighbors awake) through the night.

Sound Tower ST50F and ST40F

The larger and more expensive ST50F will set you back $699. For the money, you get up to 240W output, wheels that make moving from party to party easy and 18 hours of battery life (which should be enough for all but the most aggressive ragers). The Sound Tower features 6.5-inch dual woofers and 1-inch dual dome tweeters, providing powerful audio.

It also features IPX4 water resistance, which doesn't mean you can submerge it in the pool. It'll handle splashes and other small spills.

The more affordable ST40F is less powerful at 160W and lacks wheels, so your gatherings will be limited to one spot. Battery life is also shorter at 12 hours, but you only have to spend $499, so the trade-offs seem acceptable. This model comes with smaller speakers, featuring 5.25-inch dual woofers and 3/4-inch dual dome tweeters. It also has an IPX4 water resistance rating.

Samsung said the lights on both models transform a party into an "immersive audiovisual experience." With five mood presets and six dynamic lighting patterns, it definitely seems like that would be the case. It syncs with the music, so the dozens of LEDs will flash and pulse to the beat. Perhaps most importantly, the lights create a 360-degree effect, making it feel as if they're coming from everywhere.

Rounding out the features are DJ Booth mode, Karaoke mode and support for guitar. Everyone loves that guy at the party who knows how to play like three songs on guitar, and he can show off his skills with these speakers.

Both models will be available this month at Samsung.com and through other retailers. While we don't have an exact date, knowing they're available this month means they'll be ready for Halloween and other Fall parties.
