Unlike prior models, the Tab S3 comes with Samsung’s venerable S-Pen bundled right in, meaning that every user can get the full benefit of Android’s design and productivity apps, as well as some apps from Samsung itself. The S-Pen collects wireless power from the tablet itself, meaning it never needs to be charged, and it sports more levels of pressure-sensitivity than the Apple Pen for more detailed input. The full-sized keyboard that can give any modern Galaxy Tab a more desktop-like feel is an additional purchase, however.
The tablet world is becoming more crowded every day, so it’s good to see Samsung distinguish itself with its commitment to features, screen quality, and bundled peripherals. Short of the far more expensive market for “productivity tablets,” this is the most versatile tablet on the market today.
