Samsung's 2024 OLED Range Aims To Dominate OLED TV Market

Samsung Electronics Earns ‘Product Carbon Reduction’ Certification for 2024 Neo QLED, OLED and Lifestyle TVs From TÜV Rheinland

Samsung has made a significant impact in the OLED TV market with its latest 2024 OLED range, aiming to challenge its rival, LG. The new lineup includes three series: the flagship S95Ds, the mid-range S90Ds, and the all-new S85Ds.

The S95D series features three screen sizes - 55, 65, and 77 inches - all equipped with Samsung's Quantum Dot OLED panel technology. The models boast improvements such as a heavy-duty anti-glare filter, which effectively reduces ambient room reflections. Additionally, the S95Ds offer a substantial brightness boost and enhanced contrast levels compared to their predecessors.

One of the standout features of the S95Ds is the HDR OLED Pro system, powered by Samsung's Neo Quantum 4 AI Gen 2 processor. This processor utilizes deep learning to optimize picture quality by adjusting brightness and contrast levels dynamically. The TVs also feature AI Gaming capabilities, including an AI Auto Game mode that enhances the gaming experience based on the genre of the game being played.

Design-wise, the S95Ds sport a slim frame and a sleek rear appearance, housing a 4.2.2-channel audio system that supports Dolby Atmos soundtracks. The TVs come with Samsung's Tizen-based smart system, offering new features like the 'For You' tab for personalized content recommendations.

In addition to the S95D series, Samsung's 2024 OLED range includes the S90Ds, available in various sizes ranging from 55 to 83 inches. While the 55, 65, and 77-inch S90D models feature Quantum Dot OLED technology, the smaller and larger sizes utilize WRGB OLED technology.

Despite some confusion regarding the mix of OLED technologies within the range, Samsung's latest OLED TVs are poised to attract consumers with their advanced features and impressive performance. With the introduction of the 2024 OLED range, Samsung is set to intensify its competition with LG in the OLED TV market.
