Samsung Offers 10% Discount On Galaxy S24 Models In UK

Samsung Announces Galaxy S24 Series Update, Offering Galaxy Users More Choices

Samsung Electronics Co. is making waves in the smartphone market with its latest Galaxy S24 models. The company recently announced a 10% discount on all Galaxy S24 units, including the base, Plus, and Ultra models, for customers in the U.K. using the code '7DAYS' at checkout. This limited-time offer is valid until March 19th.

Additionally, Samsung is running a promotion in the U.S., where the Galaxy S24 Ultra 512GB is discounted by $120. The company is also enticing customers with a free 12-month Disney Plus subscription through the Samsung Boost scheme for Galaxy phone owners in the U.K., ending on March 31st.

Not to be outdone, other tech giants like Google and Motorola have also been aggressively discounting their smartphones. Google has been reducing prices on its Pixel 8 range, while Motorola has slashed prices on its foldable Razr phone and other handsets.

Samsung is further sweetening the deal for first-time users by offering a 5% discount on orders through its shopping app. Since the launch of the Galaxy S24, Samsung has increased trade-in values and offered complimentary wearables with smartphone purchases.

These price cuts are part of a larger strategy by smartphone manufacturers to attract more users to their subscription services. Google, for instance, has integrated Nest Aware and Fitbit Premium into its Google One cloud storage plan and may include YouTube Premium in the future.

Looking ahead, Samsung has hinted at potentially charging for AI features on its Galaxy S24 and S23 models. By offering competitive device pricing and promotions, these companies aim to drive adoption of their hardware and services in an increasingly competitive market.
