Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 on-sale date
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7’s official release date is July 25, so if you’ve already placed a pre-order, then that’s when you’ll probably get it. That’s also the date when you’ll be able to walk into a shop and come out clutching one.
That is, assuming there’s any stock, which there might not be for some configurations, as already depending on your region you might find some combinations of color and storage won’t ship until after July 25 – presumably because they’ve proven popular and have already sold out.
On the other hand, in the UK at least, Samsung is currently listing July 22 as the delivery date for some Galaxy Z Fold 7 configurations, even though that’s earlier than the official release date.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 was announced at a Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event on July 9.
The event was held in New York, and as well the Galaxy Z Fold 7, we also saw the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE, the Samsung Galaxy Watch 8, and the Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 Classic.
So it was a packed launch, with exciting announcements for both smartphone and smartwatch fans.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 pre-order date
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 was available for pre-order shortly after it was announced, with pre-orders opening that same day (July 9).
So if you haven’t already done so, you can pre-order the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 now. Doing so will ensure you can get the phone as soon as possible, and is likely to also net you some pre-order perks or freebies to go with it – though the exact offering will depend on the country you’re in and where you buy the phone from.
On the other hand, there’s an argument for not pre-ordering and instead waiting for reviews. After all, this is a very expensive phone, so there’s merit in ensuring it’s actually worth the money.
