Samsung has slashed the price of its flagship Galaxy S6, apparently in an attempt to win people back round after a disappointing launch period.
The company has knocked the price down to £499 in the UK, reducing it by £60. The three-sided S6 Edge hasn't had its price cut, and still sells for £669.
The price cut had been pre-announced in July, when the company announced disappointing results on the back of low phone sales.
Samsung has been looking to halt a decline in sales that seem to have been caused in part because fewer people than expected were buying the S6 and its three-sided sibling, the S6 Edge. Samsung’s sales are being eaten by the new, bigger iPhones at the top of the range and a selection of cheaper Asian handsets at the bottom, analysts have said.

Record sales and limited supply expected
Company's profits disappoint as new flagship phone struggles
"Despite the launch of Galaxy S6, improvement to earnings was quite marginal due to low smartphone shipments and an increase in marketing expenses for new product launches," Samsung said in a statement alongside its most recent earnings update.
The S6 launched to huge critical praise, and Samsung said that it expected record sales. But supply was restricted because the displays were difficult to make and sales have lagged behind expectations.
Samsung is expected to launch its next big flagship phone, the phablet-sized Note 5, this month. Pictures of the new phone — which looks a lot like a bigger version of the S6 — have already been leaked.
It is also expected to launch more low-end and middle-of-the-range handsets in an attempt to win back some of those customers.
