Samsung discount codes for September 2025 – how to get 30% off

We’ve got the latest Samsung offers and promo codes to help you save on your tech upgrades - (The Independent/Samsung)

From sleek smartwatches and cutting-edge televisions, to energy-efficient home appliances, Samsung’s line-up regularly earns top spots in our IndyBest reviews. We all know that upgrading your phone or swapping out an old fridge can be a big investment, and that’s where our team of deal-hunting pros comes in. We’ve rounded up the best ways to save, including Samsung discount codes, bundle offers and limited-time promotions. Keep scrolling for everything you need to know.

Samsung promo codes explained

Samsung rolls out fresh offers and codes each Thursday, so it’s worth checking back to see what’s new. These are mostly straightforward savings with money off selected categories or products, such as £400 off OLED TVs and £550 off AI fridge freezers.

However, some offers can be slightly more complex and incorporate trade-in discounts into the final amount. Remember to always read the terms and conditions for key details, such as app-only promotions or selected payment methods, such as PayPal.

Join Samsung Rewards

Shopping wisely isn’t all about Samsung voucher codes. One of the smartest ways to save at Samsung is with its rewards programme, which will see you immediately get one per cent cashback in rewards points and free delivery after signing up. There are three tiers to work your way through, which will award you up to a five per cent discount depending on how much you spend in 24 months.

  • Blue: Earn one per cent cashback on orders up to £1000.
  • Gold: Spend £1000 within 24 months, and you’ll get three per cent cashback with all orders going forward.
  • Platinum: Spend £3000 or more in 24 months, and you’ll be upgraded to a five per cent cashback reward.

You will almost always find a way to maximise your savings outside of major sales events. Samsung regularly offers free gifts with selected products and free upgrades, such as extra storage for your device. Kitchen appliances are usually available on a multi-buy deal, saving you 15 per cent when you buy two or 20 per cent when you buy three appliances.

When to expect the best deals

If you’re happy to wait, Samsung prices are often at their lowest during big sales events like the back-to-school period, Black Friday and Cyber Monday. You’ll find impressive bundles and multi-buy deals, with up to 30 per cent off selected models, including its popular Galaxy range.

Like most brands, you can also take advantage of heavily discounted stock in the January sales. Usually, this will be on the previous year's phone, appliance and TV models, to make room for new releases.

The Galaxy Unpacked event takes place twice a year – in January and July – and presents the brand's latest tech and gadgets to come to market. If you’re looking for a new phone or tablet, this is the best time to get free upgrades with extra storage, trade-in bonuses and free gifts with pre-orders. During this summer’s event, we saw more than £130 worth of freebies with the Galaxy Watch 8, and £100 off the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7.

Student, youth and key worker discounts

Students and young people aged 16 to 26 years can access discounts of up to 30 per cent through Samsung’s student programme. Offers vary depending on the product and are updated regularly. You’ll need to verify your student or age status using your student ID, university email address or via Unidays.

Samsung also offers exclusive benefits to healthcare workers (including NHS staff), teachers, emergency services, military and social care workers. Discounts are often in the 20 to 30 per cent range and require ID verification through a recognised service such as Blue Light Card or Defence Service.

Registered companies can apply for a business account to access exclusive perks, including a 10 per cent or more discount off each order, free delivery, order tracking and expert technical support. To qualify, your business must have a valid Company’s House registration number.

Trade-in or trade-up incentives

Samsung’s trade-in and trade-up programmes are open to everyone, not just returning customers, and can be combined with other onsite promotions and voucher codes. You can exchange old devices from a variety of brands, including phones, tablets, smartwatches and home appliances.

In most cases, items don’t need to be in working condition to qualify. It’s a practical way to clear out unused tech whilst saving money on your new purchase. Savings can reach up to £735 on smartphones, up to £310 on tablets or up to £60 on wearables.

If you’re wondering what the difference between trade-in and trade-up is, here’s a breakdown. The trade-up programme is a recycling scheme, where you can recycle your old appliance or device and receive a discount on your new item in return. With the trade-in programme, Samsung will buy your old device off you for an agreed sum of money, depending on the condition of the device.

Why shop directly with Samsung?

On top of all the savings and perks already mentioned, here are even more reasons to buy straight from Samsung:

Guaranteed low prices with the price promise

Buying direct from the brand means you can buy with confidence that you’re always getting the best deal. If you spot the same product cheaper at another major retailer within seven days, Samsung will match the price, so you don’t need to spend time shopping around.

Customise with bespoke AI

With Samsung’s bespoke AI kitchen range, you can integrate intelligent AI features into your appliances for a more personalised and efficient home set-up. You can control multiple appliances using voice control, view the contents of your fridge from your phone or keep an eye on your cooking from elsewhere in your home. There’s up to £500 off selected products right now.

Exclusive programmes you won’t find elsewhere

For diehard Galaxy owners, it may be worth signing up to the Galaxy club, where you can upgrade your phone every year to the latest model and get extra protection with the Samsung care plan. The membership fee varies depending on the model and can either be paid in full or added to your monthly mobile plan.

Upgrading or replacing your phone doesn’t come cheap, but Samsung also offers pay monthly contracts so you can spread the cost interest-free, trade in your old device for extra savings and continue earning Samsung rewards points on every payment.
