Samsung Bespoke AI Jet Ultra stick vacuum review: Is it as powerful as the brand claims?

We are on a mission here at Standard Shopping.

Our aim is to transform the most tedious of household chores into the most time-efficient process it can be. This is why we have set ourselves the task to find the most high-performing vacuum cleaner on the market - and our search has recently led us to Samsung.

A few months ago, I had an interesting email land in my inbox. The subject line read ‘This is the most powerful vacuum in the UK’. I was intrigued. Much like many others, I like a tidy home, but I don’t want to spend my precious free time actually cleaning. So I’m always looking to arm myself with tools to speed up my chores. Naturally, I needed to see if this claim rang true.

The Samsung Bespoke AI Jet Ultra stick vacuum was unveiled in March 2025 and, according to Jeong Seung Moon, EVP and Head of the R&D Team for Digital Appliances Business at Samsung Electronics, is “a true game changer in the global market”.

As well as the supercharged power (it has 400W suction), other upgrades include AI-powered cleaning and a more advanced filtration system. I put it to the test on a mixture of hardwood and carpeted floors, taking up and down stairs and tackling the most common of household dirt and grime. Here is what I thought.

Tech specs

  • Max power: 1050 W
  • Running time: Up to 160min (using 2 batteries)
  • Max suction power: 400W
  • Noise level: 87 dBA
  • Cleaning modes: 5
  • Dust capacity: 0.5 L
  • Display type: LCD

Set-up

While the Samsung Bespoke AI Jet Ultra stick vacuum includes easy-to-read instructions, I found that it could be set up without needing them. The design is sleek and attractive, especially when compared to many others on the market.

Functionality

For larger spaces, the Samsung Bespoke AI Jet Ultra stick vacuum stands out in the world of cordless devices. While tackling big homes may require a mid-clean charge-up, this hoover has two batteries so you can carry on scooping up dirt, dust and grime with up to 160 minutes of juice non-stop. This is then taken to the next level with a self-emptying feature. When you pop the vacuum back into its stand, it moves your recently suctioned residue into a little bag, so there is really nothing stopping you from giving your space a thorough cleaning.

It is fitted with smart functionality, including the brand’s upgraded AI Cleaning Mode. This allows it to automatically detect different environments and adapt the brush speed, pressure and performance accordingly. For example, you will notice it amping up the power on short-pile carpet, but this is all while ensuring it is working efficiently.

Suction power, however, is what this vacuum is all about. While it is said to be the most powerful in the UK, I found it to have a good level, even through the multiple settings, but it still doesn't rival a corded - like the hard-wearing, professional favourite Henry - and, in terms of power, it works just as well as my former Dyson.

(Samsung)

Where it does shine is its ease in mobility, its ergonomic feel, and its lightweight nature, so you can take it up and down stairs easily. You can even make it into a handheld when tackling smaller spillages and for areas like the sofa or car.

The LCD display is handy for detailing battery level, run time or any errors.

Verdict

Samsung Bespoke AI Jet Ultra stick vacuum

The Samsung Bespoke AI Jet Ultra stick vacuum has been dubbed “the most powerful vacuum in the UK” - a big claim to live up to.

We put it to the test on a mixture of hardwood, long and short pile carpet and found it to be high performing. However, not more so than our beloved cordless Dyson or professional favourites like the Henry.

Where it does come up trumps is in its running power. The battery life is long - up to 160 minutes - and it is self-emptying. The gadget is easily manoeuvrable up and down stairs.
