Samsung 'accidentally' reveals key feature of Galaxy Note 10 - days before launch

There’s just two days to go before Samsung finally unveils its Galaxy Note 10, but the tech giant has just revealed a key feature for the smartphone .

The Galaxy Note 10 will be unveiled at an Unpacked event in New York on Wednesday 7 August.

However, Samsung has also now announced an event on Saturday August 10, where fans can get hands-on with the Note 10 smartphone.

A listing for the event gives us a sneak peek of what we can expect from the Note 10, most notably a new ‘Superfast Charge’ feature.

The event page says: “Be among the first to get hands on with all the highly-anticipated new features.

“These include Intelligent Battery, Superfast Charge, Wireless PowerShare, the next-generation S Pen, and so much more.”

Superfast Charge was introduced in the Galaxy S10 5G, and was also included in the mid-range Galaxy A80.

Images leaked by WinFuture suggest that Samsung could launch the phone in a ‘yoghurt pink’ colour (WinFuture)

At the launch of the Galaxy S10, Samsung explained: “Supported by the USB Power Delivery 3.0 PPS (programmable power standard), Galaxy S10 5G's Super Fast Charging capabilities pull 25 watts of power when plugged in, to repower your phone in a flash.”

The fact that Superfast Charge is listed on the Note 10 event page suggests that the smartphone will support 25W wired charging at the minimum.

However, previous rumours suggest that the Note 10+ could support a whopping 45W wired charging thanks to an adapter in the box.

Thankfully, there’s not long to wait to see what Samsung has in store for us.

The Unpacked event will start at 21:00 BST on Wednesday 7 August. As always, Mirror Online will bring your the biggest announcements as they happen, so make sure you check back in then!
