Samosa, pani puri in Tokyo: Patna's 'Jaggu Dhaba' brings Bihari desi flavours to Japan. Watch video

A restaurant located in Japan's Tokyo is winning hearts and going viral online for its authentic North Indian and Bihari food. Set up by a man from Bihar's capital Patna, 'Jaggu Dhaba' has become a favourite for Indians living in Japan or travelers missing the taste of home-made food. From Samosa chat to vegetarian thali and pani puri, the restaurant is known to serve traditional Bihar specialties.

A recent social media post from 'Japan Wala Bihari' about the eatery has drawn attention online, with many users praising the restaurant for serving a slice of India thousands of miles away from home.

A Taste of Bihar in the Heart of Tokyo

Jaggu Dhaba is owned by a man from Patna, Bihar, who has brought regional Indian cuisine to Japan. The restaurant serves a mix of North Indian dishes along with food closely associated with Bihar's culinary heritage. According to the post, ‘Jaggu Dhaba’ aims to recreate the comforting flavours that many Indians miss while living abroad.

The post described the eatery by saying: "Patna wale ka hotel Japan me. Bihari restaurant owner in Tokyo, Japan."
