Sammy-Jo Dixon missing police issue appeal

Police in Ballymena have issued an appeal for missing teenager Sammy-Jo Dixon.

The 16-year-old was last seen at Ballymena train station at around 5.40pm on Saturday.

Sammy-Jo is described as being 5'5'', medium build with long blond hair tied up in a ponytail with blue eyes.

She was last seen wearing a black zip-up hoodie, grey tracksuit bottoms, white converse and carrying a brown purse.

A PSNI spokesperson said: "Police in Ballymena are growing concerned for the whereabouts of Sammy-Jo Dixon who was last seen at Ballymena Train Station at approximately 1740 hours on Saturday 13th April 2019.

"Sammy-Jo is described as being 5’ 5” tall, of medium build with long bright blonde hair tied up in a ponytail and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a black, zipped up hoodie, grey tracksuit bottoms, off-white converse trainers and carrying a brown purse.

Update:Missing 6-year-old boy has been found safe  

"If you know of her whereabouts or can provide any information to ensure her safe return, please ring 101 quoting serial CC120 of 14/04/19."
