Gardai in Tipperary were kept busy by the same motorist after they were arrested twice by the exact same Gardai for committing the exact same offence of driving while disqualified.
On Monday morning, Gardai in Cahir, Tipperary were carrying out patrols in the town when they stopped this car.
After using the MobilityApp and Lapdock, police discovered that the driver had previously been disqualified.
The motorist was arrested and the vehicle was seized.
At the time, this person was also charged to appear at Cashel District Court, however, they did not heed this warning.
Yesterday afternoon, Gardai apprehended the same motorist again after they were again observed driving a vehicle by the same Gardai.
The driver was arrested again for driving while disqualified and the vehicle has now been impounded.
The motorist has been charged and will face court proceedings.
In a statement, Garda said: "Unfortunately, this motorist did not heed the message the first time as they were again observed driving a vehicle by the same Gardai. The driver was again arrested for driving while disqualified and the vehicle impounded. The motorist has been charged to court.
