Samantha Bee takes back all praise of Eric Schneiderman after former AG accused of sexual abuse

Samantha Bee held nothing back against former guest Eric Schneiderman, who she once called a "hero," after he was accused of choking and slapping multiple women.

"This is especially infuriating given his supposed woke bae-ness," Bee said at the opening of "Full Frontal" Wednesday night of the 63-year-old attorney.

"Throughout his political career, Schneiderman positioned himself as a feminist crusader, he championed the #MeToo movement, he filed a civil rights lawsuit against Harvey Weinstein, he put out pamphlets for victims of domestic violence and he helped craft an anti-choking law even though he's now accused of choking his girlfriends."

Schneiderman resigned from his position late Monday, just hours after the explosive New Yorker article, but maintains his innocence.

The former New York Attorney General previously appeared on "Full Frontal" in November when Bee heralded him as a "hero who stood up to democracy's nemesis."

Today, it's a little different.

"This is a little complicated for me to talk about. Just kidding, it's not complicated: F _ k you Eric Schneiderman," Bee said.

"The good legal work that you did does not absolve you. It will not give me one second's pause to tear you a new a _ hole on live television. I give zero f _ ks."

The YouTube clip of Bee's former interview with Schneiderman has since been renamed to "Former AG Tricks Sam Into Thinking He Was Decent."

"We taped this segment before the allegations against Eric Schneiderman came to light, and we sincerely apologize for characterizing him as a hero when, to so many women, he was the vilest villain," the video description now reads.

"We're keeping this piece online in the interest of integrity. We encourage you to make a donation to an anti-domestic violence organization like The Battered Women's Justice Project. Also, if you're a f _ king disgrace, please consider not coming on our show."

The late show host also did a check-in on other men accused of similar crimes, including Harvey Weinstein, Charlie Rose and Matt Lauer.

"As for men like Eric Schneiderman, we really don't need them," Bee said. "You know who's a better advocate for women? Women."
