Sam Warburton's outrageous piece of skill during Ireland v Wales warm-up that everyone missed

Sam Warburton - Welsh rugby legend, breakdown extraordinaire, top waterboy and... budding footballer.

The former Wales and Lions skipper is now part of Wayne Pivac's coaching staff, performing the role of breakdown specialist.

Warburton, who was forced to retire from the sport due to injuries in 2018, turned heads last week when he appeared on the field during Wales' win over Italy carrying the water bottles.

He received a huge applause when his face appeared on the big screen.

With the Aviva Stadium still half empty ahead of the defeat to Ireland on Saturday, Warburton was out on the field, retrieving balls for fly-half Dan Biggar, who was doing some kicking practice.

As Biggar sent another one through the sticks from a fair way out, Warburton was there to control the ball with his foot and catch it without letting it touch the floor.

With a huge grin on his face, he turned to the camera man and asked: "Did you get that on camera?"

He then fist pumps as the camera operator indicates that they did, indeed, catch the skill on camera.

"Did you actually get that? I'm so happy!" He added.

Impressive stuff from the avid Tottenham Hotspur supporter!
