Sam Tomkins remains in pole position to be crowned the 2021 Super League Man of Steel after claiming maximum points for his outstanding display in Catalans Dragons’ win over Hull KR.
The England captain scored a try and laid on another as he underlined his class at Craven Park.
With KR half-back Jordan Abdull seemingly out of the race after being ruled out for up to five weeks with a fractured thumb, Tomkins has a significant lead at the top of the standings.
Points have been dished out for rounds 16 and 17 after a busy long weekend in Super League, with Leeds Rhinos full-back Richie Myler among the big winners.
