Sam Thompson has revealed that he sees a therapist after breaking up with Zara McDermott.
Their relationship ended when Zara, 23, admitted to cheating on Sam when she appeared on X Factor : Celebrity last year.
She has since publicly begged for his forgiveness and asked him to give her another chance, but it's claimed Sam will never take her back.
And now Sam, 28, has admitted that he's trying to stay positive after the messy situation exploded, revealing that he has sought professional help to deal with it all.
He told OK! : "I've got an incredibly awesome snuggle of people around me. I think that also I try and look at the good things in life and I wake up every morning and say what I'm grateful for.
"It's such an amazing way of starting your day. I also get therapy. I believe a lot of people should, just with the day and age we're in.
"There's so much pressure on us as a society and it's hard."
Sam added: "The one I've got now, I've only had about six months. But then I had one before that for a short while.
"I kind of just go whenever I feel really stressed and stuff, once a week normally, and there's just no judgement from anyone."
The moment Zara revealed she'd cheated aired on Made in Chelsea this week.
She sobbed as she begged for Sam's forgiveness and asked him not to end things with her after she repeatedly slept with someone else and did not admit it until a year later.
It's claimed Sam finds Zara's public begging "embarrassing" and he won't take her back.
A source told new! magazine: "His ego was badly bruised by what’s happened and we doubt his pride will let him take her back."
"Zara is making a bit of a fool of herself. She's not giving up - she really thinks she has a chance - but everyone in Sam's circle knows it's not going to happen and she's fighting a losing battle."
