Sam Smith is taking steps to secure their multi-million pound mansion after their previous home being ransacked twice in the space of one year.
The 27-year-old chart topping star is anxious about their personal home being broken into after their former home was burgled twice in 2014.
It is believed Sam is now taking action to ensure their five-bedroom, Grade II-listed home in North London won’t fall to the same fate of their previous property.
Sam was left shaken after discovering their home had been burgled while they were performing on stage at Glastonbury back in 2014 - with the burglary being the second one for the star that year.

“Security will be a priority for anyone who’s had their house broken into once, let alone twice, and Sam is no exception,” a source told The Sun on Sunday.
“The attitude is if more money is needed to make this new home feel safe and comfortable, so be it,” the source continued.
According to the publication, plans for Sam’s upgrades: “have been drawn up following consultation with a security specialist and analysis of the security issues.”

The singer is required to make a special request to their local council to make the security modifications due to the fact the mansion is a listed building.
The home is believed to had been built in 1736 and has previously been him to author Sir Kingsley Amis - according to The Sun.
The property is believed to have a sprawling courtyard garden, breakfast room, and reception hall among it’s highlights.

Sam is currently building up to release their third studio album - titled To Die For - which is due for release on 1 May.
The star has already released the title song - and has taken to social media to declare their love for the track.
“To die for is so special to me. I love singing this song so much,” Sam tweeted earlier this month.
