Sam Heughan has congratulated his Outlander co-star Tobias Menzies for winning an Emmy award last night.
After his character 'Black Jack Randall' was killed off from Outlander, the actor went on to portray Prince Philip in Netflix series The Crown.
During last night's Emmy's, Tobias picked up 'Best Supporting Actor in a Drama'.
It was a successful night all round for The Crown as Gillian Anderson won 'Best Supporting Actress in a Drama' for her role as Margaret Thatcher and Olivia Colman won ' Best Drama Actress' for her portrayal as The Queen.
Josh O'Connor scooped 'Best Drama Actor' for his role as Prince Charles as the show also won Best Drama Series.
And Tobias' Outlander cast mate Sam was quick to congratulate him on the incredible win.
Sam shared a Tweet as he wrote: "Well done Tobias!!!!!"

And many fans also sent their congratulations.
One wrote: "Well deserved, a great actor! An another awesome Outlander Star."
Another added: "Totally deserved!! Such a talented actor!!"
While one said: "Brilliant actor! An idiomatic expression comes to mind when I think about Tobias Menzies… reach for the stars The Emmy Academy finally reached far enough."
Finally, one added: "Tobias is sublime in The Crown, episode Moondust is my absolute favourite."
