Sam Fender teams up with Spotify for intimate homecoming gig in secret location

It soared straight to number 1 within hours of being released and Sam Fender will celebrate the success of his debut album Hypersonic Missiles with a special homecoming gig this weekend.

The album, which features tracks like Play God, Dead Boys and Will We Talk was released in the early hours of Friday morning and sky rocketed straight to the top of the iTunes chart, where it's stayed ever since, putting Sam right on course to finish top of the official charts when they're announced on Friday evening.

If he gets a number 1, the North Shields singer and his band will celebrate in style with a homecoming gig hours later.

The show, in conjunction with Spotify, is being held on a top secret location but you could be there!

The event was first teased last Thursday in a newspaper ad and was later posted by Sam himself on his Instagram.

And now details have been revealed on how you could get in. The only clue being given as to where it is is that it's somewhere on Tyneside.

To be in with a chance of winning head HERE and leave your name and email address.

The gig, which will be filmed, will start at 7pm and is for people 18 and over only.

Winners will be notified by 2pm on Tuesday, September 17.

Having won the 2019 Brits Critics’ Choice award, Sam has cemented himself as undoubtedly one of the most exciting talents in the UK and has sold out FOUR nights at O2 Academy Newcastle at the end of the year.
