Sam Fender reveals release date and track listing for debut album Hypersonic Missiles

It's one of, if not the most anticipated debuts of 2019 and Sam Fender has now revealed when his first album will be out.

The North Shields singer has had an amazing start to the year, being the owner of the Brits Critics Choice award, not forgetting a much sought after Greggs VIP card.

His massive homecoming show at the Mouth of the Tyne festival in July is the annual event's fastest selling gig ever and it got even better for Sam last week when Watch Sam Fender's brilliant reaction to being followed by Ant & Dec on Twitter

The 24 year old has been making a splash on both sides of the Atlantic with tracks like Play God and Hypersonic Missiles, and the latter just so happens to be the title of his debut album.

The album will be released on Friday, August 9.

Straight out of school, Sam found work behind the bar in a North Shields pub and was discovered by his eventual manager, when the pub’s landlord, recognising him, nudged Sam to go fetch his guitar and play something.

He did so and the pair have worked with each other ever since.

Hypersonic Missiles was written, recorded and produced at Sam's own self-built warehouse studio in his home town was recorded alongside long-standing friend and producer Bramwell Bronte.
