He's had an incredible year and Sam Fender has added another string to his bow, or should that be his guitar, with the opening of his very own pop-up shop on home turf.
The North Shields musician has had an unforgettable 12 months accomplishing everything from a Brit Award to a now gold certified number 1 debut album.
Sam has performed all over the world but, as the saying goes, there's no place like home and it's in his native Tyneside that he has chosen to open the store which is an absolute must-visit location for his growing number of fans.
The pop-up shop on Westgate Road first opened its doors for two days only earlier on this month to coincide with Sam's back-to-back sell out gigs at the nearby O2 Academy and now it is open until Christmas Eve, selling everything from vinyl records to bottle openers.
Highlights of the merchandise on sale in store the include Sam's new “spam” hoodie, inspired by the traditional tinned food and limited edition prints from Neal Fox, the artist responsible for Sam's tour artwork and other posters you'll have seen this year, including the one advertising Sam's exclusive gig at King Street Social in North Shields with Spotify to celebrate Hypersonic Missiles getting to number 1.
And it has just been announced that, as well as being open in the days leading up to Christmas, Sam's pop-up shop will be open on weekends throughout January and when Sam plays his rescheduled Academy gigs in early February.
