Sam Faiers has revealed her plans to take a conscious break from social media after being left 'overwhelmed and tired' following the birth of her third child.
The reality TV star, 31, and her partner Paul Knightley, 34, have three young children together, and are proud parents to Paul Jr., six, Rosie, four, and four-month-old Edward.
The kids keep the Towie star very busy and she admitted to her sister Billie, 32, on their podcast that she relished in spending some quality time with them and away from her mobile phone.
Speaking on The Sam and Billie Show, Sam said: "I thought 'you know what', I've got a busy week of settling the kids back into school.'
"It's been a really long summer for me with all three children- settling into being a mum of three with Edward. It has been a lot and it's been really full on."
The Mummy Diaries star went on: "To then throw social media into the mix, I just felt like it was a lot going on. I needed a week away from social media. I can't tell you how nice it's been. I'm going to try to do weekends where I'm just off it."
Last month, Sam described the recent school holidays as a "little chaotic" in a candid Q&A on Instagram.
The family, who live in Surrey, enjoyed spending time together over the summer, with Sam sharing updates from their adventures on her Instagram account.
She admitted however that juggling family activities with work over the summer holidays has been an "intense" experience.
During a Q&A on Instagram, one fan asked how the family are doing. She responded: "We're all doing very well, thank you."
She continued: "The summer holidays have been a little chaotic. Looking forward to a bit of routine when the kids go back to school in a couple of weeks".
The Celebrity Big Brother star added: "The juggle has been intense".
It wasn't the only question about her family that Sam, who appeared on TOWIE from 2010 until 2014, responded to during the Q&A with her followers last night.
Asked for an update about Edward, she revealed that it has been a "tough" few days with the baby because he has been showing signs of teething recently.
Sam explained: "So we've had some restless nights." She added: "Sore nips, back ache and sleep deprived".
Earlier that month, Sam celebrated Edward being 3 months old with a post on the platform – in which she said that recent months have been an "emotional rollercoaster".
She also said: "It just amazes me how quickly they develop. [...] The newborn baby smell has faded away, the nights aren't as tough and I'm getting [some time to myself]".
The reality TV star further commented: "As much as it feels a little easier juggling three [children] as time is passing, it's equally so sad". She encouraged: "Cherish everyday".
