Sam Faiers doesn't want a 'huge' wedding like sister Billie's big day in the Maldives

Sam Faiers has revealed she won't be following in her sister Billie's footsteps by having a huge wedding.

The former TOWIE star, 29, says she wants an "intimate" ceremony with just her closest family and friends in attendance when she finally gets engaged to her long term boyfriend Paul Knightley.

It will be a huge contrast to the lavish white wedding Billie, 30, and her husband Greg Shepherd had in the Maldives, which saw her fly out over 100 guests for her big day last year.

Her little sister Sam said while she does want to tie the knot with Paul somewhere sunny, hers will be a smaller affair.

Sam told OK! magazine : ". I know I want quite a small wedding. I want it to be intimate, with close family and friends."

"Billie's was huge, in the Maldives, with over 100 people there," she added.

"We were there celebrating for six days. But that is Billie and Greg and their personalities.

"As much as Paul and I want a party and a celebration, I think I'd have something small.

"But I do want it to be in the sunshine."

Billie and Greg got married on the idyllic island of Kuramathi last March with sister Sam and her two children Nelly, four, and Arthur, two, all present in the wedding party.

The whole thing was filmed for the family's reality TV show The Mummy Diaries.

The ceremony caused controversy as there were complaints about the wedding party acting like "drunken yobbos".

Other guests at the resort complained about how the wedding party allegedly flouted the rules of the five star beach resort by dining at luxury restaurants in their swimwear, leaving dirty nappies on the beach and getting drunk and rowdy nightly at the all inclusive bar.
