Sam Faiers' dig at TOWIE stars as she brags about Mummy Diaries lasting four years

Sam Faiers has made a dig at other TOWIE stars whose TV shows have been cancelled.

The reality TV regular, 29, has starred in The Mummy Diaries with her sister Billie Faiers for seven seasons, with the show staying on air for four and a half years.

She said: "I think the biggest surprise would be the fact I had my own show that was going to last for so long. It's seven series and we've been doing it for four and a half years.

"Lots of people get their own show but the fact we are so far in, it's incredible.

"We put a lot of hard work into it but we're so grateful that it keeps going.

"So it will be the teenager diaries, and the grandma diaries!"

The comment may have been a dig at her former TOWIE co-stars - and some of her exes.

Her former flame Joey Essex had just two seasons of his spin-off show Educating Joey Essex.

Elliot Wright, who she briefly dated, starred in Playa in Marbella for two seires.

And Amy Childs' series It's All About Amy had just eight episodes.

Sam is hoping that the show will still be airing in ten years' time.

She said: "I'll be turning 40! I’ll be in my prime. I think 40 will be a good time."
