Sam Darnold shows love for his family on International Women’s Day

The New York Jets had a rough go of it in 2018, finishing the year with a record of 4-12, good enough for last place in the AFC East.

But, the Jets hold the third pick in next month’s NFL Draft, and with a new offensive-minded head coach in Adam Gase, big things are expected next year of the Jets, especially from franchise quarterback Sam Darnold.

The third overall pick from last year’s draft had a season filled with highs and lows. He finished the year with 2,865 passing yards to go along with 17 touchdowns and 15 interceptions.

Darnold has all the skills and makings of a franchise guy and he is still only 21. He’s come a long way in life, and today, he took some time to show some important people in his life just how much they’ve meant to him.

Take a look.

That’s Darnold with his mother and sister, and you can just tell he has a great support system in his family. (Also, he better have paid for that meal.)

Happy International Women’s Day!
