Sam Darnold says he’s ‘pumped’ to be joining the Panthers

The Panthers have a new quarterback in Sam Darnold, who spent the first three seasons of his NFL career with the Jets. During his time in New York, Darnold suffered from a serious lack of receiving weapons and was playing for one of the worst coaches in the league in Adam Gase.

As you might imagine, Darnold is happy about the opportunity to come to Carolina and perform for Matt Rhule and Joe Brady, while getting to throw to D.J. Moore, Dan Arnold and former Jets teammate Robby Anderson. Darnold says he’s pumped for this next leg of his journey.
