Sam and Billie Faiers confess they haven't watched TOWIE in years as they snub reunion show

Sam Faiers and sister Billie Faiers have confessed that it's been years since they last watched The Only Way Is Essex.

The sisters - who now star in their own reality show The Mummy Diaries - candidly admitted that they're not keeping themselves up to date with the latest seasons of the show, despite finding fame on it.

Speaking exclusively to Mirror Online, Sam, 29, admitted she's not seen the show "at all" since leaving it, whilst Billie, 30, insisted she "dips in and out every now and again".

When quizzed on if she's ever sat down to watch TOWIE since leaving in 2014, honest Sam said: "No not at all. I haven't watched it for a few years now..."

Whilst Billie added: "I dip in and out every now and again, but not really!"

The sisters first put their names on the map thanks to the hit reality TV show set in Essex.

But after starring in a whopping 11 episodes of the series and becoming one of the most popular girls from the show, it seems as though Sam is now in a different place in her life.

Back when the series launched in 2010, Sam was far from a busy working mum-of-two.

She became the "it" girl as the series followed her rollercoaster relationship with Joey Essex.

In fact, the show has helped earn her nearly £10million already thanks to book deals, a TV series, a clothing line as well as her own perfume brand.

But that unfortunately wasn't enough for ITV bosses to get Sam back for a special 10-year anniversary reunion.

Most of the big-name stars from over the years are expected to take part in the get together, planned for October.

And while bosses wanted originally Sam to make a brief appearance, she decided to decline the invitation.

Though she's past that stage in her life now, Sam is still appearing on our TV screens, only this time as a doting mum on her series The Mummy Diaries.

The hit ITVBe series has proved to be a popular hit among viewers, as it's been on air for over seven seasons now over the course of four and a half years.
