Former Sunderland manager Sam Allardyce is the favourite to become the new West Bromwich Albion manager after the sacking of Slaven Bilic.
The Baggies parted ways with their manager after a 1-1 draw with Man City last night.
Matt Lawton, Chief Sports Correspondent for The Times, broke the news this morning.
He said: "Slaven Bilic has been sacked. Sam Allardyce due to be unveiled. Updated story to follow in next few minutes."
Allardyce is set to be given a six month contract until the end of the season, but could be given a 12-month contract extension if he keeps the Baggies in the Premier League.
The former Black Cats manager has been without a job since he was sacked by Everton in 2018.
