Sam Allardyce and Leeds United must capitalise on Tottenham Hotspur's away form

Sam Allardyce will be hoping home advantage can inspire his Leeds United to a great escape when they take on Tottenham Hotspur this weekend. The Whites know anything less than a win would see them relegated to the Championship, ending their three-year stay in the top flight of English football.

Leeds need a favour from elsewhere with Everton and Leicester City in against against Bournemouth and West Ham United - two sides to have beaten the Whites in recent weeks. Spurs head to Elland Road looking to keep their European ambition alive, with just one point separating Aston Villa and themselves heading into the final day of the season.

Good fortune may have been absent from Leeds this season, but Tottenham have endured a torrid campaign for different reasons. Spurs have not won on the road since January.

They defeated Preston North End 3-0 in the FA Cup, but you have to go back another week to find their last win on the road in the Premier League. A late first-half strike from Harry Kane gave Spurs a 1-0 win over London rivals Fulham.

Leeds on the other hand, have not won at home since a 2-1 win over Nottingham Forest under former boss Javi Gracia and you need go back to mid-February for their most recent win prior to that. A 1-0 win over Southampton gave the former Spanish head coach lift off in his first game in charge.

The Whites have won just seven games this season in the Premier League - five of those coming at Elland Road.
