Salzburg star Dominik Szoboszlai says "unique" side are going to Anfield to win

Red Bull Salzburg star Dominik Szoboszlai says that the "unique" Austrian outfit are going to Liverpool to win, and warned the European champions of their qualities ahead of Wednesday's Champions League clash.

Szoboszlai scored in Salzburg's 6-2 victory over Genk on Matchday 1 which took Jesse Marsch's side to the top of Group E.

Liverpool began their campaign with a 2-0 loss at Napoli on the same night, and that has added an element of tension to their first home European game since June's triumph in the final in Madrid.

Szoboszlai, 18, is hopeful that his side can take advantage of any nerves, while also heaping praise on the Reds' manager and their their standing in world football.

“Jurgen Klopp has opened a new chapter in the club’s history," the teenager, who will be scouted by Arsenal at Anfield among other clubs , told Goal.com .

"They are great to watch and I am very much looking forward to facing them at Anfield.

“It is a historically huge club – their dramatic win versus AC Milan (in the 2005 Champions League final) was definitely impressive."

Szoboszlai went on to hail the entire Reds squad, although he did single out one of Klopp's forwards for special praise.

“Their whole squad is great but Firmino is someone special," he continued.

"They are a top team with an unbelievable coach leading them. [The Premier League] is one of the best leagues in the world now, without question.

“We will do our best at Anfield and try to play for a win. We have a lot of confidence in ourselves.

"We are a young, highly-motivated team with a lot of quality and good characters. That makes us very strong and unique. I'm sure that Liverpool is very much aware of that."
