Salvi's announces new food hub at Deansgate Square

Family run Italian restaurant chain Salvi's has announced the opening of a food hub at Deansgate Square.

The food hub will include a restaurant, bar, deli and exhibition space within the Deansgate Square development.

Due to open this winter, it will coincide with the 10th anniversary of the restaurant's opening.

Maurizio Cecco and wife Claire opened the first Salvi's in the Corn Exchange in 2011.

The hub will also have a heated terrace open all year round.

It will provide indoor and outdoor dining.

Salvi's is hoping to bring a 'slice of Italy' to the south of Deansgate.

Much of the food Salvi's offers will be based on original family recipes.

The space was designed in collaboration with AXI Studio to create a 'third place' for visitors to be welcomed by Salvi's.

Salvi's new food hub will offer food from gelato to pizza and Italian wines, spritz and a deli.

The dining area will have an outdoor private dining room available to book for events and dinners as well as pasta-making classes.

Maurizio Cecco, Managing Director of Salvi’s, said: “Manchester is our home and we’re always looking for new potential sites so this seemed too good to miss! Deansgate Square gives us the opportunity to bring together all the best aspects of Salvi’s, plus we can now roll out some new ideas that we’re really excited about.”
