There’s no better indication that the holidays are still in full swing than Epic giving away more games on its storefront for free. Aside from the fact that the New Year is still a couple of days away, of course.
Wednesday’s free title on the Epic Games Store is Salt and Sanctuary. This 2D side-scrolling adventure takes just as many cues from Castlevania as it does Dark Souls. A few years ago, developer Ska Studios released the game to significant critical acclaim, sitting at a mighty impressive 84 on Metacritic.
Salt and Sanctuary is free on the Epic Games Store from now until Dec. 30 at 8 A.M. PDT / 9 A.M. MDT / 11 A.M. EDT, so act fast and scoop it up if you haven’t already.
