Even as Salman Khan gears up for the season premiere of his hit reality show Bigg Boss, Deepika Padukone is riding high on the buzz around her Hollywood debut opposite Vin Diesel with xXx: The Return of Xander Cage. And, the Dabangg star brings good news for the fans of Deepika -- the first trailer of xXx is set to be launched on the first episode of Bigg Boss.
It is for the first time that a trailer which has not been screened on any other platform will be showcased on Salman Khan’s reality show. There have been big films releasing around the airing of this show, but no other trailer has been launched on the show. Salman has not even done it for his own big releases.
While we are yet to see them come together on the big screen, the small screen experience of the two of them sounds like a lot of fun too. Expect solid chemistry, a lot of fun and hoots and cheers for our two superstars.
Directed by D.J. Caruso, xXx: The Return of Xander Cage is a sequel to the 2002 film xXx and 2005 film xXx: State of the Union. The film, slated to release on January 20, 2017, also stars Ruby Rose, Samuel L. Jackson, Donnie Yen and Tony Jaa.
Earlier, reports suggested that Deepika, who will be making her Hollywood debut with xXx: The Return of Xander Cage, will be the first celebrity guest of the show when she was recently spotted shooting with Salman.
Deepika plays Serena in xXx that stars Vin Diesel in the titular role. xXx: The Return of Xander Cage stars Samuel L Jackson, Tony Jaa, Ruby Rose, Nina Dobrev and Donnie Yen. The film is scheduled to hit theatres in February 2017.
The reality show, an Indian version of international series Celebrity Big Brother, features celebrities locked inside a house for three months under constant camera surveillance, without any gadgets or luxury. This time the spotlight is on the common man. For the first time, the controversial reality show will open its doors to the common people to appear as contestants along with the stars.
After months of auditions and scrutiny, 13 names have been shortlisted, of which eight will be entering the house. The format details for the new season are yet to be revealed.
