Salman Khan's co-star Adi Irani claims actor didn't apologise after on-set injury

Bollywood actor Salman Khan's past has come back to haunt him, this time around, because of his Chori Chori Chupke Chupke co-star, Adi Irani, who spilled secrets from the film sets. In a recent chat, Irani revealed an on-set incident where Khan accidentally threw him into a glass frame, leaving him injured and what's more? The actor did not apologise.

Known for his roles in films like Baazigar, Welcome, A Thursday, and more, Adi recalled the shocking moment when Salman's action resulted in him sustaining facial injuries from glass shards. The collision with the glass frame left him bleeding. Despite injury and pain, he continued working to prevent production delays and financial losses for the filmmakers.

Speaking to Filmymantra Media, Irani revealed that what surprised him the most was Khan’s initial reaction. “Vo toh jab pehle laga toh bahar he nikal gaya tha. No sorry, nothing. He went out. Apne room mein jaa ke baith gaya (When I first got hurt, he simply went out. No sorry, nothing. He went and sat in his room.),” Adi alleged.

However, he later clarified that Salman did eventually reach out to him the following day. Feeling guilty about the accident, Khan personally called him to say, “Adi, I am really sorry. I can’t even look into your eyes, I was feeling so bad.”

Adi also acknowledged that Salman seemed genuinely remorseful and that he spoke to him in a considerate manner.

On the work front, Salman is awaiting the release of his film 'Sikandar' which is slated for its release on Eid next month. The film marks the actor's next big venture since starring in a cameo in the cop action film 'Singham Again'.
