Salman Khan on Bigg Boss 15 launch: I keep telling the makers I put in so much hard work, they should increase my pay

For lovers of Bigg Boss, the good news is that the 15th season is all set to premiere on October 2. At the show's launch, Salman Khan did a digital press conference and joked about his pay package.

The Bollywood superstar, who has been hosting the show for a long time now, shared his reasons for increasing his fees.

He said, "I keep telling the makers I put in so much hard work, they should consider it and increase my pay, but nobody listens. I just pray to God that a time comes when the channel tells me, Salman we will increase your pay and I would tell them, no let it be. Do you really feel this can happen (Laughs)."

Every year, there are rumours that do the rounds about his fee. This year is no exception.

Reportedly, Salman has charged Rs 350 crore for hosting Bigg Boss 15 for 14 weeks. Over the years, there has been a significant increase in his pay, owing to the fact that he is loved as a host by many.

Bigg Boss 15's jungle theme is going to be different from the rest of the seasons. Some of the names that the viewers will see are Pratik Sehajpal, Donal Bisht and Umar Riaz.

Names of other expected contestants are Rakhi Sawant's husband Ritesh, Afsana Khan, Vishal Kotian among others.

This year before Bigg Boss 15, Karan Johar hosted Bigg Boss OTT. The show went digital for the first time. Divya Agarwal was declared the winner, Nishant Bhat the first runner-up and Shamita Shetty the second runner-up.
