Sallie Axl breaks silence over video of her 'stabbing ex' in front of daughter

Big Brother star Sallie Axl has broken her silence after an old video of her 'stabbing' her ex with scissors emerged.

The 32-year-old mum of one hit headlines over a video of her thrusting a pair of scissors at former boyfriend Gerard Williams resurfaced.

The ex's toddler daughter was watching on at the time.

Glamour model Sallie - real name Sally Pryzbeck - has now spoken out about the video, claiming it was taken a year ago when she was in a very dark place.

She had self-harmed with wounds to her wrists when the footage was filmed, and said she was angry that her ex was laughing while she was distressed.

"I am trying to get my Instagram removed. This video is from over year ago... I hope you all are never in a bad place like that. I was videoed and made fun off," she wrote.

"I was at breaking point this was not now!!!!! As you can see I have self harmed and he is laughing at me."

Sallie went on: "Mental health is serious this is why I have been so open about coming of those tablets! Look at my hair it's from start 2018!! Not now.

"I was on a high dosage of anti depressants and anxiety tablets! I'm shocked he could post a video of his daughter."

Merseyside Police confirmed they are "making enquiries" into the video, although it is not believed the incident itself has been reported.

A spokesman told Liverpool Echo : "We have been made aware of footage posted on social media and are making enquiries into the matter."

Sallie has been open about her mental health battle, telling followers in June 2018 that she was struggling.

In an Instagram post at the time, she wrote: "Sometime I pretend things are ok. Sometimes I dint want to go on. Sometimes I am my own worst enemy and so hard on myself. Sometimes I just don't know if I can get through the pain.

"Always know that people are going through there own struggles. And that no matter how big the smile. They might not be ok. Sometimes just sometimes life is too much."

And the previous month she had told followers that social media was feeding her anxiety, writing: "I really struggle with anxiety and I think one of the reasons is social media . I wish we could go back to the old days when it didn't exists. I wish I could stop comparing myself and making my self feel down about not being good enough. Social media is damaging!"

Sallie has been contacted for comment.
